Yet another wise observation buried in the vulgar. I am no orator, but I could wish one person could express truth without making a mockery of it. Although I doubt he would exert himself so far, James Potter's tirades are not unlike the last message from the esteemed Order of the Phoenix. I've tried to record all I can of both groups' broadcasts. Except for that terrible one last week. I would like very much to forget the sound of that.

Perhaps the unknown Death Eater is right that there is little difference between the two in their methods, in their determination to tear down all that is brilliant about our world and replace it with smoke. I fear he may be right that Evander and Penny and Puck will still be fighting this war. He may even be right that only those who hate as much as the Death Eaters do can prevail.

I hope he is correct about that.

Even Athena's in-laws are not so extreme. I hardly knew Miss Crockford and Mr. Rifle, but Nicole Mason lives with Addie, and they cursed Ashley Ketteridge and terrorized Hazel. She was so shaken when I saw her. It proves that no more than a word out of place is needed for them. This is how they show their superiority? They have never truly cared about the preservation of heritage or even about the purity of blood. Rose is far more a lady than B anyone who would mock the suffering of others.

It matters to those live through it and to those whose lives are forever affected by one madman's misappropriation of the past. The worst of it is that we do have a marvelous heritage and now it is only misused or mocked. Even C We will never come out the better for throwing it all away in the name of safeguarding it. Good, respected, honourable names: B Rosier and even Wilkes will be remembered for nothing but how they've fallen.


It's not Mr. Hart's fault. He is has always seemed a good man, and he is not the first to pose such questions merely for the sake of being provoking, particularly as a method of distracting one's self from other thoughts. It reminds He mentioned being recently single.

It should not surprise me that anyone who treats family with such callousness would do the same to others.

For those with an interest in Astronomy, the first in a fascinating series of events is expected to occur on 14 January. Jupiter and Saturn will begin the first step in the rare dance known as a triple conjunction. The two planets are approaching each other in the sky and will reach the same right ascension (analogous to longitude for those who did not pay attention in Astronomy at Hogwarts). After moving on, an apparent change in direction due to the peculiarities of the Earth's orbit will bring the two planets back together on 19 February, and they will meet for the third time this summer on 30 July after 'resuming' their forward motion. What makes this particularly exciting is that the conjunctions will occur with Jupiter and Saturn in opposition to the sun, creating a particularly visible and extremely rare event known as a Greatest Conjunction. It's unfortunate that the curfews will not allow

Divination enthusiastics might be interested to note that Greatest Conjunctions have been associated with major events in Wizarding history. The last occured in from late 1940 to 1941 during the escalation of the Grindelwald War. A Greatest Conjunction occuring between 1682 and 1683 followed the last executions for witchcraft in England and accompanied the beginning of the political movement which led to the signing of the International Statute of Secrecy within a decade. It is believed that a Greatest Conjunction in the year 7 B.C. may be the storied Star of Bethlehem. I can't wait I look forward One wonders what 1981 will bring.
